Our story
Every great leap was frightening at first.
In 1543, Copernicus argued that the Earth moves around the Sun. In 1616 the Church banned the idea, and in 1633 Galileo was tried and placed under house arrest for defending it. That idea went on to shape modern science, from navigation to spaceflight.
Steam engines, electricity and the internet each arrived with fear. Each one, once put to work wisely, lifted the living standards of billions of people.
In our own lifetimes, a start-up whose first three rockets failed, and which experts doubted could ever fly safely, became SpaceX. It now flies around half of the world's orbital launches. The biggest shifts often begin with a vision bold enough to try and disciplined enough to execute.
AI is the next of these leaps. There's no better place for it to matter than the supply chain: the quiet system that feeds, heals, clothes and connects the world. When it works, nobody notices. When it breaks, everybody does.
AI, applied responsibly, can be transformational for humankind. Supply chains are where that promise becomes real.
Yet the world's supply chains still run on spreadsheets, static rules and the heroics of exhausted planners. Most AI initiatives never make it out of the pilot stage. The technology is ready. What's been missing is a way to put it to work that leaders can trust.
That's why we started Kraam.ai.
